Plexiglass
Light transparent weather resistant thermoplastic.
Lexan
Transparent plastic (polycarbonate) of high impact strength, used for cockpit canopies, bulletproof screens, etc.
Obscure Glass
Sheet glass made translucent or opaque (as by roughening one side)
Safety Glass
Tempered – Special heat-treated, high-strength safety glass which shatters into pebble-sized particles and not in slivers.
Laminated – Glass made with plates of plastic or resin or other material between two sheets of glass to prevent shattering.
Custom Mirrors
Mirrors made to your exact specifications.
Fire Rated Glass
Fire protective glazing that is specifically used to restrict the transfer of heat, smoke or fire. Ratings and thickness vary depending on the length of time the glass is subjected to heat.
Wire Glass
Sheet glass reinforced with wire netting.
Tabletops
Energy Saving Low E Glass
Energy Saving Low E Glass has low emissivity due to a film or metallic coating on the glass or suspended between the two lights of glass to restrict the passage of radiant heat.
Residential Windows
Insulated – A window with multiple glazing that provides one or more air spaces between layers of glazing.
Non-insulated – Monolithic (single pane) glass – commonly seen in storm windows or wooden framed windows – generally 20
years or older.
